Hicksville Targeted in Wave of Recent Burglaries

Patch reports on recent crimes in the Plainview and Syosset area.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Second Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Six burglaries were reported recently in Hicksville alone as a wave of crimes hit the area. Several other burglaries were reported in the area.

  • June 7: Grand larceny: Leahy Street, Hicksville.
  • June 7: Burglary: Jerome Avenue, Hicksville.
  • June 8: Burglary: Lincrest Street, Syosset.
  • June 8: Criminal mischief: Radnor Road, Plainview.
  • June 2: Grand larceny: Cold Spring Road, Syosset.
  • June 8: Criminal mischief: Meadow Lane/Hillside lane, Syosset.
