Six burglaries were reported recently in Hicksville alone as a wave of crimes hit the area. Several other burglaries were reported in the area.
The Second Precinct reported the following crimes:
- June 3: Grand larceny; Bethpage Road, Hicksville.
- June 6: Burglary; James Street, Hicksville.
- May 15: Burglary; ADC Supply Company, Hicksville.
- June 6: Burglary; Grand Avenue, Hicksville.
- June 7: Burglary: Fordham Avenue, Hicksville.
- June 7: Grand larceny: Leahy Street, Hicksville.
- June 7: Burglary: Jerome Avenue, Hicksville.
- June 8: Burglary: Lincrest Street, Syosset.
- June 8: Criminal mischief: Radnor Road, Plainview.
- June 2: Grand larceny: Cold Spring Road, Syosset.
- June 8: Criminal mischief: Meadow Lane/Hillside lane, Syosset.
