Nassau County Police announced all-day construction on the eastbound Long Island Expressway.
Exits 41 to Route 106/107 through Exit 48 near Round Swamp Road in Plainview will undergo construction throughout the day on Tuesday, cops said. The right eastbound lane of the expressway will be closed to traffic, they said.
Police said Tuesday's closures will likely extend to 5 p.m. They could not confirm if the construction was a one-day operation or if it would be an ongoing project.
