LIE Reopened After Truck Jackknifed
Exits 43 and 44 in Syosset closed for approximately two hours.
The eastbound LIE in Syosset between exits 43 and 44 was closed off for nearly two hours Wednesday following a traffic accident around 1 p.m., according to Newsday.
A tractor trailer reportedly jackknifed after striking a pick up truck. No one was hurt. See photos of the accident here.
