Man Charged with High Speed DUI Goes to Court

Courtney Lowery had a 7-month-old in the car and was driving at 90 MPH, police said.

The man who was will head to court Wednesday.

Courtney Lowery, 31 of Brooklyn, was pulled over early one May morning after police clocked his 2003 BMW going over 90 miles per hour on the LIE. After stopping him, police determined Lowery was intoxicated. Also in the car were his 7-month-old son and an unidentified 28-year-old woman. No one in the car was harmed.

Lowery was charged with felony counts of reckless endangerment, DWI, aggravated DWI (Leandra’s Law), reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and a variety of vehicle and traffic violations.
