Looked to me like the truck didn't see the motorcycle and turned into his path.

It was completely the truck driver's fault. I work right in front of where the accident took place. She got out of her car, completely apathetic to the victim, took pictures(to cover herself I'm assuming) and waited for the authorities/ambulance. I was observing her from my office the whole time and was utterly appalled at her lack of empathy! It's disgusting how people have minimal care for the next fellow human being! . She was trying to make a left(all left turns means person is at fault if they incur an accident). She failed to yield which resulted into an accident. She's is completely at fault. And if the person dies from this accident, she should be held accountable! Mindless drivers!

I am so fet up with the traffic in the town I have to drive that way to drop of my son in the morning and at night , The train comes and everyone tries to get as close as they can to be the first one to cross when open.. I have to go thu the maze all the time around cars that sit in the middle of the intersection.. That intersection where the accident happend should be NO LEFT TURNS!! or a light installed... everyone needs to slow down, and get off the damm phone!!

People in this town are some of the worst drivers I have ever encountered. Pulling into parking lots like they have a 50 foot trailer behind them, or pulling out in front of you when there is no one behind you. How about trying to back out of your driveway when they have to make the train at 7am .. Be careful your life is in jepoerdy these morons only care about themselves, and its quite evident in this story.

Yes I agree with Amanda. The police need to enforce the cell phone laws in town to punish all these local yentas who can't multitask and who drive like they are the only ones in existance. Hopefully the new road construction in Jackson will help with some of the traffic. Kudos for adding new no turn on red signs and police cameras at many local intersections.
