NCPD Warning Over Supermarket Bomb Threats

Calls follow suspicious packages being found.

The Nassau County Police Department has issued an alert for its officers to be on the lookout for suspicious activity at supermarkets.

Bomb threats have reportedly been called into supermarkets. This follows suspicious packages being found at supermarkets in Bellmore and Merrick over the past couple of days. 

According to police there is no incident going on at the moment, but the recent activity may be related to a union strike.
