Police Blotter: Bank of America Robbery

A rundown of recent police activity in the area.

The following arrest information was supplied by the 2nd precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Crimes

May 11 - a flat screen panel, a monitor and three laptops were stolen from Fashionable Bride in Woodbury.

May 11 - Jewerly was stolen from a person on Pound Path in Woodbury.

May 13 - Fraudelent check transfers were made at Fusco, Brandenstein and Rada in Woodbury.

May 15 - An auto was spray painted on Fairhaven boulevard in Woodbury.

Arrests

On May 11, Max Schneider, 22, was arrested and charged with robbery at the Bank of America in Syosset.

On May 11, Cynthia Mercado, 28, was arrested and charged with Aggrevated Unlicensed Operation in the second degree at Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.

On May 14, Karen Peister, 49, was arrested and charged with DWI and aggrevated unlicensed operation in the first degree on the LIE in Woodbury.
