Police Blotter: Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Check out recent crimes and arrests from the Second Precinct.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Second Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Crimes and Arrests

On July 15, a person on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle on South Oyster Bay Road in Syosset. Police later arrested Aida Adorino, 59, on the Northern State Parkway and charged her with Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

On July 13, a bicycle was stolen from a shed on Woodland Avenue in Syosset.

On July 12, license plates were stolen from an auto on Route 25 in Syosset.

On July 15, windows were smashed on a car outside Geico in Woodbury.

On July 17, multiple incidents of graffiti were reported. An overpass was spray-painted on Gateway Drive and the North Service Road in Syosset, as well as a fence at a home on Kathleen Drive.

On July 18, a tire on an auto was found punctured on Kodiak Drive in Woodbury.

On Jul 18, spray paint was found on the building of Bills Vitamin in Syosset.
