Police Blotter: Multiple Buildings Spray-Painted, Cars Damaged

  • On June 27, a door was broken on a home on Arizona Avenue in Syosset.
  • On July 6, a mailbox was damaged on a home on Cherry Lane in Syosset.
  • A screen door was ripped off on a home on Ashford Drive in Syosset.
  • Multiple buildings were found spray-painted from June 29 to July 8 - the , the S & S Repair Center, the Sail on Electric, the J and M Auto Repair, and Syosset Glass. 
  • On July 4, client files were stolen from the Consumer First Law Office in Woodbury.

  • On July 6, Hope Cabrera, 48, was arrested and charged with Aggrevated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle second degree on the LIE in Woodbury. 
  • On July 6, Joseph Kopito, 26, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident at Route 135 in Woodbury.
  • On July 9, Luis Ramirez, 30, was arrested and charged with Aggrevated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle second degree on Robbins Lane in Syosset.
