Police Blotter: Multiple Cars Damaged, Barbecue Stolen

A rundown of police activity this past week in the Syosset area.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Second Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Crimes

  • On June 20, windows were smashed on multiple autos on Barry Lane in Syosset.
  • On June 25, a gas barbecue grill was stolen from in Syosset.
  • On June 25, jewerly was stolen from a home on Chauncy Place in Woodbury.
  • On June 20, cash and tools were stolen from an auto parked at the On Parade Diner in Woodbury.
  • On June 26, a bicycle was stolen from Southwood Circle in Syosset.
  • On June 26, a mirror and window was broken on an auto at Roberta Lane in Syosset.
  • On June 27, a mirror on an auto parked at Loretta Drive was damaged.
  • On June 28, a pedestrian was injured in a hit and run at Jackson Avenue in Syosset.
