Police Blotter: Stolen Engagement Ring, Burglary

A rundown of police activity for the week.

The following arrest information was supplied by the 2nd precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Crimes

May 24 – An engagement ring and Rolex watch were stolen from Lifetime Fitness.

May 23 – An Ipod was stolen from Lifetime Fitness.

May 24 – A video camera and computer were stolen from a car outside Walt Whitman Elementary.

May 16 – A Weber grill was stolen from a yard on Fairhaven Boulevard in Woodbury.

May 20 – Two wallets and a Dell laptop were stolen from cars outside .

May 23 – Assorted pain medication was stolen from  in Syosset.

May 23 - Pry marks were found on a door on Chestnut Lane in Woodbury.

May 21 – A car window was broken on Willets Drive in Syosset.

May 18 and 19 – A car was scratched on West Wood Drive in Woodbury.

May 21 – A pocketbook was stolen from an auto on Woods Road in Woodbury.

Arrests

On May 20, Justin Esposito, 20, was arrested and charged with Burglary at Pond Path in Woodbury.

On May 23, Eric Lipuma, 31, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny at Underhill Boulevard in Syosset.
