One car vandalized in Syosset, three others nearby last week.

Reports of car vandalism dropped in the Syosset area last week, cops said.

According to Nassau County Police, four incidents of car vandalism were reported in the Second Precinct last week, with just two reported in the northern side of the precinct.

Cars in Syosset, Westbury, and Levittown were targeted by vandals in both residential and commercial areas. Three of the four cars were scratched, while a car in Levittown was reportedly found with slashed tires.

Critical thinking gives us a process of thinking to get into the depth of the problem. It begins with an analysis of the situation (structure, background, or setting), in which the information of when, where, and who is identified. The information may help set up seasonal differences in restricting hours of leaf blower operation. Further thinking will lead critical thinkers to note the implication of the new ordinance to the business of licensed landscapers. Also, critical thinkers may think about the development of a soundproof leaf blowing machine.
