The Nassau County police arrested a Woodbury restaurant owner Tuesday on charges of sexual abuse.
According to Second Squad detectives, Tom Lam, 39, of Flushing, the owner of Nisen Restaurant at 7967 Jericho Tpke., Woodbury, called a 24-year-old female employee into an office at the restaurant to collect her tips.
While the two were alone in the office, Lam perpetrated forcible sexual contact with the victim. The woman was able to escape and notify the police.

Lam is charged with first-degree sexual abuse and he will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
