Son of Slain Parents Found Dead

Pulkit Singh, 20, whose parents were murdered in their Syosset home in 2007, was found dead Sunday.

Seven years after his parents tragic death, a Syosset man has been found dead in his home outside the University of Pennsylvania, reports The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Pulkit Singh, 20, known to his friends as Josh, was found dead around 1 p.m. Sunday in his bedroom. His cause of death is currently unknown, but is not being investigated as a wrongful death by police, says the report.

Josh was just 13 when he and his brother, Ankur, 12 at the time, returned from school to find their parents shot dead in their Doone Drive, Syosset home on Jan. 23, 2007. The brothers pleaded with the community to help find their parents killer, but the case was never solved.

Singh was a dual major attending the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. A graduate of Bethpage High School, he was known to friends and family as confident and bright.

A wake was held for Singh on Saturday, Jan. 18, at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home in Bethpage followed by cremation at Nassau Suffolk Crematory in Lake Ronkonkoma.
