Syosset Crime: Businesses Targeted for Burglary

This information was compiled by the Second Precinct of the NCPD.

* On June 21 at 9 a.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when golf clubs were stolen from a property on Kristi Lane in Woodbury. 

* Between June 28 at 3:15 p.m. and June 29 at 6 a.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when 20 road cones were stolen on Underhill Boulevard.

* Between June 28 at 11:30 p.m. and June 29 at 7 a.m., a case of criminal mischief occurred when driveway lights were damaged on Chauncy Place in Woodbury.

* On June 29 at 11:30 a.m., a burglary occurred with a rear-door entry (nothing stolen) on Colgate Lane in Woodbury.

* On June 29 at noon, a case of criminal mischief occurred when an automobile was keyed on Berry Hill Road.

* Between June 30 at 4:39 p.m. and July 1 at 7:35 a.m., a burglary occurred when a metal door was pried open (nothing stolen) at Country Carpet Warehouse, 207 Robbins Ln. 

* Between July 1 at 1:45 p.m. and July 2 at 2:45 a.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when a leaf blower was stolen at the Town of Oyster Bay Highway Department, 150 Miller Pl.

* Between July 1 at 8:10 p.m. and July 2 at 6 a.m., a burglary occurred when someone attempted to open a rear door (nothing stolen) at Leslie Swimming Pool Supplies, 601 Jericho Tpke. 

* At some point after 6 p.m. on July 2, a case of grand larceny occurred when an automobile hood was stolen on Michael Drive. 

* Between July 5 at noon and July 6 at 7 a.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when a GPS was stolen from an automobile on Orchard Drive in Woodbury. 

Arrests

* John Ball, 50, on July 2 for aggravated unlicensed use of a vehicle in the first degree on Route 135 in Woodbury. 

* Gregory Mehrhoff, 30, on July 4 for DWI on the Long Island Expressway. 

* Michele Flaherty, 47, on July 5 for DWI on the Long Island Expressway.
