Syosset Crime Report

This information was compiled by the Second Precinct of the NCPD.

* On May 17 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:20 p.m., a case of criminal mischief occurred when tires were slashed on on Jackson Avenue.

* Between May 21 at 4:30 p.m. and May 24 at 4 p.m., a case of criminal occurred when a house window was damaged on Moores Hill Road. 

* On May 27 between 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when a pocketbook and credit cards were stolen from an automobile at the Rite Aid at 103-131 Jackson Ave.

* On May 28 between 3 p.m. and 3:50 p.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when keys and boxing gloves were stolen from a locker at New York Sports Club at 49 Ira Rd. 

* On May 29 between 6:55 a.m. and 10:10 a.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when a pocketbook and credit cards were stolen from a desk at the White Oaks Nursing Home at 8565 Jericho Tpke. in Woodbury.

* Between May 31 at 8:30 a.m. and June 1 at 11:30 a.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when assorted jewelry was stolen on Clover Road in Woodbury. 

* On June 2 at 7 a.m., a case of criminal mischief occurred when paint was used to damage an automobile on Birchwood Park Drive. 

Arrests

* Nina Markovic, 25, on May 27 for aggravated unlicensed use of a vehicle in the second degree on Angel Way in Woodbury. 

* A 15-year old was arrested for robbery on May 29 at the Debbie Klein Boutique at 16 Berry Hill Rd. 

* Gregory Chavez, 33, on May 30 for leaving the scene of an accident on the Long Island Expressway. 

* Sergio Cruz, 27, on May 31 for aggravated unlicensed use of a vehicle on Route 135 in Woodbury.
