Syosset Crime Report: Wedding Dresses Lifted

This information was compiled by the Second Precinct of the NCPD.

* Between Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. and Aug. 13 at 9 a.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when tires and rims were stolen from an automobile on Jericho Turnpike. 

* On Aug. 10 at 6 p.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when a registration was stolen from an automobile on the Long Island Expressway. 

* Between Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 12 at 8 a.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when two welders were stolen from a Syosset construction site.

* On Aug. 12 between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., a case of criminal mischief occurred when assorted merchandise was stolen from the Syosset Card Smart location.

* On Aug. 12 at 2:25 p.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when a UPS delivery/wedding dresses were stolen on Donald Drive.

* On Aug. 12 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., a case of criminal mischief occurred when a window on an automobile was damaged at Butera's, 7903 Jericho Tpke. in Woodbury. 

* On Aug. 13 at 11:45 p.m. a case of petit larceny occurred when cash and iPod were stolen at Dunkin' Donuts, 59 Jackson Ave.

* On Aug. 14 at 11:45 a.m., a case of petit larceny occurred when when assorted clothing was stolen–it was later recovered–from Chico's, 8285 Jericho Tpke. in Woodbury.  

* Between Aug. 17 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 18 at 9 a.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when a pocketbook and credit card were stolen from an automobile on Miller Boulevard.

* On Aug. 17 between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., a case of grand larceny occurred when a pocketbook and iPod were stolen from an automobile on Miller Boulevard.

Arrests

* John Minucci, 21, on Aug. 12 for reckless driving and DWI on Jericho Turnpike. 

* Gregory G. Gianotta, 38, on Aug. 14 for petit larceny at The Home Depot, 111 Jericho Tpke.
