Syosset FD: Two Injured in Jericho Turnpike Motorcycle Crash

Motorcycle and car collide on Jericho Turnpike; two sent to NUMC.

Two were hospitalized in a Jericho Turnpike crash Tuesday evening involving a car and a motorcycle, according to the .

At about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night, a motorcycle and a car collided with each other on Jericho Turnpike just west of where the road intersects with Underhill Boulevard, said Syosset Fire Chief Robert Kaplan.

The unidentified motorcycle driver was transported to Nassau University Medical Center with serious injuries. An unidentified woman who was driving the car had to be extricated from the vehicle by Syosset firefighters and transported to NUMC.

Identities of those involved in the accident have not yet been released. The cause of the accident was not reporte by police.
