Syosset Firefighters Free Woman From Overturned Car

The woman was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries Saturday.

removed a woman from her overturned Land Rover on Jericho Turnpike and Avery Road and sent her to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries Saturday afternoon at around 5 p.m.

Suffolk and Nassau County Police Emergency Service Units as well as Syosset firefighters removed the roof of the Range Rover that was on it's side to extricate the woman that was trapped in the car. 

The accident tied up traffic on Jericho Turnpike and was cleared up shortly after.
