Syosset: Look Out for Disguised Lady Bank Robbers

Pair struck Roslyn Savings Bank in Plainview.

Two women sporting bob-style wigs and sunglasses robbed a Plainview bank Saturday morning.

Just before 10:30 a.m., the women entered Roslyn Savings Bank at 1092 Old Country Rd. Each approached a different teller, but only one passed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The women then fled with no weapons displayed and no one injured.

The suspect who received money from the teller is described as a black female, 5-foot-9, wearing dish gloves. The other suspect, also a black female, is between 5-6 and 5-7. Both were wearing gray hooded, zippered sweatshirts.
