The Second Precinct is constantly reporting acts of criminal mischief involving car vandalism.
In the most recent Nassau County Police crime report, eight incidents were reported in both commercial and residential areas.

A few of those incidents have been reported in Syosset and Woodbury. These acts of criminal mischief, like smashed windows and slashed tires, take seconds for a vandal to commit but months for the car's owner to pay off.
