Two people were hospitalized in a warehouse fire on Miller Place Tuesday afternoon.
The responded to Commodities Assistance Corporation at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to find the warehouse billowing smoke.
Syosset and Hicksville firefighters extinguished the fire and remained on the scene to ventilate the smokey building.
Four employees of the corporation were evaluated for smoke inhalation. Two people were sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
