Video: Syosset F.D. Extinguishes Car Fire
Volunteers sprung into action when power line lit up vehicle.
The Syosset Fire Department has provided Syosset Patch with footage of volunteers extinguishing a parked car that was set ablaze by a downed power line on Cold Spring Road on Aug. 22.
At approximately 7 a.m., Syosset Fire Department volunteers received the call and responded to the scene. No injuries were reported, and power in the area was only briefly affected.
