Woodbury Home Burglarized Friday

Police said the two men were scared off by the house alarm and left with nothing.

Two men broke into a home on Westwood Lane in Woodbury Friday night but were scared away by the house alarm when it sounded off and fled the scene, according to police.

Police said the burglary occurred at 9:43 p.m. Friday when two unknown male subjects kicked in the back door of the home and gained entry, but took off when the alarm in the house was activated.

A 57-year-old woman was inside the home at the time of the burglary, but there were no proceeds and no injuries were reported. Police had no description of the subjects.
