POLLING PLACE UPDATE: Several Changes Reported in Tobay

Board of Elections says residents should prepare for last minute changes.

Several polling stations in the Town of Oyster Bay so far have reportedly changed locations for Election Day.

Town of Oyster Bay residents should check in on Election Day to see if their polling stations have changed, said Nassau County Board of Elections officials Monday. Residents can call (516) 571-VOTE for information on their own polling station. Find your polling place here.

Nassau County absentee ballot filing hours have been extended until 10 p.m. Monday.

Polls will open at 6 a.m. Tuesday and close at 9 p.m.

Polling places in Plainview, Syosset, and Massapequa have changed within TOBAY. Click the attached PDF on the right for the full list of changes from the Nassau BOE.

Bayville, one of the hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy, will reportedly keep the same polling stations at the Bayville Firehouse and Bayville Village Hall.

Correction: An earlier version of this story had the incorrect substitute polling places for Mattlin and Jamaica Avenue. Voters should go the Mid-Island Y JCC on Manetto Hill Road at Washington Avenue.
