Heat Forces Town Senior Program Move to Hicksville
Air conditioning problem in Glen Head causes Wednesday change.

The extreme heat we're seeing has caused the Town of Oyster to move their senior program.
The summer program which had been scheduled for Wednesday at the Glen Head Community Center, will be moved to the William Bennett Center in Hicksville.
The change was made because an air conditioner in Glen Head wasn't working, according to a town spokeswoman.
The Bennett Community Center also hosts a town program which will combine with the one moving into the center.
The Bennett Center is located at 28 West Carl Stret in Hicksville.
