Syosset Youth Athletic Club ushered in the 2013 season with a special first pitch from Leg. Judy Jacobs.
Jacobs, D-Woodbury, joined the SYAC Pony League Monday to throw the first pitch of the season at Robbins Lane School.
“I couldn’t promise a great pitch, but I threw it with a lot of fun and love," she said.
Jacobs was welcomed by the American Ambulettes, also known as the Awesome AAs, their coach Brian Smith of All-Star Physical Therapy, Coach Dan Katz, Assistant Coach Harris Russo, FXCM team with Coach Carl Ferraro, SYAC President Rich Levitan, and board member Gil Numeroff.
