July 6: Library Event; BOE Meeting

Here's what's going on Wednesday:

• Expect great weather today! It will be in the mid-80's with lots of sunshine, according to the National Weather Service. 
• The Syosset Board of Education is tonight at 8 p.m. at Middle School. Every July, the Board elects their President and VP at this meeting. Stay with Patch for the story Thursday.
• The holds today at 7:30 p.m. Syosset librarians will focus on the library's collecton of books, videos and electronic resources available to help you make the most of your money.
• Stay with Syosset Patch for stories today - we'll have video and photos of the first-place win in a recent barbecue contest, an overview of the current state of businesses in Syosset, more photos from July 4th, and more!
