Lavine to Host Meeting on New Health Care Act

Space is limited; registration for free program is requested.

Assemblyman Charles Lavine, D-Glen Cove, will host a meeting Oct. 23 where community members can get direct answers about the new Affordable Care Act and the New York Health Benefit Exchange.

The meeting is set for Oct. 23, at the Syosset Library from7:30 to 8:30 p.m. It is open to the community.

Trained experts will be on hand to provide information as well as answer questions about the new rules and regulations; how the ACA will impact you; protecting your rights under the law; financial assistance; strategies for acquiring quality and affordable health care coverage; connecting with the health care and health insurance plans best suited to your needs; and where to get additional information.
