State Sen. Carl Marcellino won re-election to his Fifth State Senate District seat, a position he's held since 1995.
Dear Neighbor:
First and foremost, I want to thank the people of the 5th Senate District. I am honored to have your support. I truly appreciate every vote I received on Election Day.
As for the next two years, my goals have not changed. We must cut taxes and spending. I want to return the focus to job creation. I look forward to helping Governor-elect Cuomo make good on his promise for a property tax cap. I am confident he will govern in a more consistent and fiscally prudent manner than his predecessors.
The vote of confidence I received is a great privilege and I am proud to continue my work on behalf of our communities.
