Both sides of the aisle join in "Lighting the Dome Blue" at Nassau County Courthouse.
Nassau lawmakers joined together Monday to light the Nassau County Courthouse dome blue in honor of Autism Awareness Month.
(D-Woodbury) and (R-Bethpage) crossed party lines Monday to celebrate and bring awareness to autism.
"Raising awareness is so very important," said Jacobs. "Early intervention is vital and awareness is the key to providing therapy to the children when they are at a very young age."
