Speed Limit Lowered on Underhill Boulevard
Town, residents hope decrease will mitigate accidents on Syosset road.
The Town of Oyster Bay voted to lower the speed limit on Underhill Boulevard in Syosset from 45 to 35 MPH at Tuesday's Town Hall meeting, according to Newsday.
Locals have long considered road and its intersection at Jackson Avenue "the treacherous triangle" of accidents.
