Elections are just around the corner and the race for County Executive is in full swing.

Both incumbent Ed Mangano and candidate Tom Suozzi are hitting the pavement and speaking with constituents to secure votes.

The most recent polls have put Mangano ahead 52 percent to Suozzi's 35, according to CBS.

Legislative seats are up for grabs in District 11, Delia DeRiggi-Whitton D v. John DiMascio (R), and District 16, where incumbent Judy Jacobs, D, is being challenged by Lou Imbroto, R.

In the Oyster Bay town supervisor race, incumbant John Venditto, R,  is being challenged by John Capobianco, D. And on the town board, Republican incumbents Joseph Pinto, Chris Coschignano and Michelle Johnson are being challenged by Democrats Shaker Nelanuthala, Chris Briggs and. Kimberly Snow. In the town clerk race, incumbent James Altadonna Jr., R, is being challenged by Mili Makhijani, D.
