Town Invites Civic Organizations to be Linked on Website

Town Website lists Chambers of Commerce and Civic organizations.

The Town of Oyster Bay is calling on civic organizations and Chambers of Commerce to be listed on the Town's website.

“By listing civic organizations and Chambers of Commerce, residents in our communities have a handy resource for contacting the organizations that represent them," Counciman Anthony Macagnone said. 'It also gives the organizations more exposure and an opportunity to expand their membership."

Any organization that's interested in being included should write a letter, on official stationery, listing the name of the civic or chamber; the president; mailing address; a contact person; phone number; and, the organization's Web address. The letter should be addressed to: Supervisor John Venditto and sent here to Oyster Bay Town Hall North.

“The Town’s goal is to have its website serve as a valuable resource to our residents by providing an on-line information hub that offers a wide range of information and news about our Town, as well as issues and events,” Councilman Macagnone said.
