Jackson Avenue Improvement Project – Week 22

This past week was a quiet one along Jackson Avenue, as crews only worked on small projects north of Devine Avenue.

This past week was a quiet week for the construction crews involved in this improvement project.

Earlier in the week, the construction crews worked on the entrance to Pine Road where it intersects with Jackson Avenue.

At the intersection of Lucille Drive with Jackson Avenue, part of the road was taken up for the second time, as I expect it did not meet with the inspector's approval.

The final layer of asphalt was put down at the intersection of Railroad Avenue (Cousin's Pizzeria) and Jackson Avenue.

Preliminary striping of the traffic lanes was done from Jericho Turnpike north to Lewis Lane.

The landscapers cleaned up the weeds along the fences of the houses across from Devine Avenue (Citgo Station).
