18 Students Named National Merit Finalists

Syosset High School reports most students to receive honor in school history.

18 Syosset High School students were named finalists in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.

According to the district, this is the highest amount of students to ever achieve the honor.

Juniors from over 22,000 high schools nationwide entered the 2013 program after taking the 2011 PSAT/NMSQT exam. These students will be considered for state, corporate, and college scholarships.

I feel very proud to be a mom of my daughter Rabia Aslam. I congratulate all the students of Syosset High School who got this opportunity. I also congratulate to the principal, councilors and the teachers who worked so hard past few months for the collage admissions process.
