Theater students at Syosset High School wowed the crowds with their rendition of "The 39 Steps."
The cast of 24 students, lead by seniors Joseph O'Malley and Melissa Kleiman, performed in front of eager crowds Nov. 15-17. The show was directed by teacher Gene Connor.
As Hurricane Sandy took away rehearsal time, the cast and 20-person crew came in on weekends and holidays to prepare for the show. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Syosset High School Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
The play is based on the John Buchan novel of the same name. The novel was made into a film by Alfred Hitchcock film 1935.
