Syosset PTA's annual Literacy Week was a hit for Baylis Elementary students.
Former Baylis students kicked off Literacy Week by returning to their alma mater and reading to younger students.
Later in the week, mystery author David Adler discussed his work and inspirations with budding authors. Adler and students spent the day reading and chatting about writing.
High school students also had the opportunity to reunite with former teachers at a breakfast.
