Capogna Wins Nurse Practitioner Scholarship

She was awarded $1,500 Monday at Crest Hollow Country Club.

Nicole Capogna of Syosset was awarded a Nurse Practitioner Association of Long Island (NPALI) 2010 Spring Scholarship Monday night in Woodbury. 

Copogna and Massapequa's Roberta Schieda were presented the $1,500 scholarships at the 10th Annual NPALI “Practice Issues” Conference held at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Capogna is a 2010 graduate of Long Island University, CW Post Campus Family Nurse Practitioner Program. 

Jeanne Martin, regional director of NPALI, presented the scholarships. The NPALI was formed in 1980 and is a chapter of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State.
