Update: All Syosset Schools Closed Thursday
Schools announce closures after nor'easter moves through area.
Syosset School District, Our Lady of Mercy Academy, and St. Edward the Confessor School announced they would be closed Thursday.
All three schools cited weather-related concerns stemming from the nor'easter that had already dumped a few inches on the ground by Wednesday night.

According to Syosset's and St. Edward's websites, schools would be closed for weather. News 12 reported Thursday morning that OLMA would also be closed.
