Hon. Ann-Margaret Carrozza, Esq., an estate planning and elder lawattorney, served as a member of the New York State Assembly for 14 years.  She is presenting a free seminar on how to “Protect Assets in the Event of Long Term Illness” on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 2pm. The seminar will take place at the Syosset Public Library, which is located at 225 South Oyster Bay Road.

The program will also focus on how to manage a loved one’s assets when they are no longer capable, how to protect one’s home and other assets when a loved one needs long-term care, estate planning – what happens when the "well" spouse dies first, as well as how to prevent your children from paying 70 % combined New York State and Federal estate tax.
