5 Things You Need to Know for Monday.

Good morning and welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today", the Monday edition. 

Well, we've just about wrapped up the first month of the year 2011, and I think some may agree with me when I say that it sure didn't go by fast with all the snow we got. Don't look now, but more snow is in the forecast this week.

Without further ado, here are just "5 Things" to keep in mind Monday. 

  1. The National Weather Service says that we could be getting snow Monday night and Tuesday morning. Make sure to check out Syosset Patch later this Monday morning to check out our weekly weather outlook. 
  2. The takes place at l at 9 a.m. The program, for seventh-graders, is a multi-media presentation and is designed to teach kids and parents about the dangers of cyber-bullying, sext-ing, internet predators, and social-networking websites. 
  3. - Barry Lisak, an IRS enrolled agent, tax professional and columnist, will present this seminar at the Syosset Public Library at 1 p.m. to help reduce your Federal and New York State taxes. The event is free and open to all. Call the library at 516-921-7161 for more info. 
  4. Teens can head to the library for the 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
