great pictures... maybe you can get to the bottom of all the different colors of Npt-ENpt sports teams. I see black/gold, blue/gold in your pictures plus the other day I saw blue/white (soccer). last I new Commack was black/gold so I'm not sure why Npt-Enpt wants to be the same colors as a neighboring team.

Great to see something in Northport/East Northport was covered last weekend... The Patch tag line is "everything Northport, East Northport, Ewood, Fort Salonga" so The East Northport Community hosts it's biggest event for the year and not one article covering all of the local community members who performed or competed. Not one mention or picture of the rides, vendors, or community members getting together. Thank you to the East Northport Chamber of Commerance for putting together a great weekend filled with good music and sense of community! Northport/East Northport school district's colors were navy blue and gold back in the day...it was reflected in the yearbooks of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. The question Scamp raises might make for an interesting local news article...what is the history of the school district colors and tiger mascot...from the inception of the district through today.
