These Class of 1960 students went to Tobay Beach. What did you do after the prom?
The Class of 2012 had their senior prom this weekend. , they headed off to the after-prom parties as generations had done before them, though maybe not to the same places as other graduating classes.
Many current Long Island high schoolers head out east to the trendy Hamptons after the prom. But that wasn't always the trend. Students pictured here from the Syosset High School Class of 1960 stayed within the Town limits, opting for a weekend at in Massapequa.
Where did you go after your senior prom? Did you head home to Syosset or go elsewhere? If you went to the beach, did you stick around TOBAY or did you head east to the trendy Hamptons?
