Relay for Life officially kicks off Wednesday at Syosset High School.
The annual effort to raise money and join together in the fight against cancer jumpstarts fundraising at an official kick-off event at SHS at 7 p.m.
Efforts culminate in the springtime when Syosset High School holds their annual Relay for Life when hundreds join to march in solidarity for fallen friends and loved ones.
Relay for Life events are held nationwide to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
