St. Anthony's Student Is Intel Semi-Finalist

Woodbury resident is one of 52 students from Long Island to reach the semi-final level.

Akash Nandi, a St. Anthony's senior, has been named a semi-finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search.

Nandi's topic was: "Can confidence obstruct the path to success? An examination of personal and social factors that may impact an adolescent's tendency to engage in high-risk behaviors."

The Woodbury resident is one of  300 seniors around the country to reach the semi-final level, and one of 52 students from Long Island.
