Syosset cheerleaders are heading to the UCA National High School Cheerleading Competition (NHSCC) for the second year in a row.
The team will head to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida Feb. 9-10 and compete against teams from across the country for the national title.
This is the second year in a row the team has qualified for NHSCC.
Like last year, the team hosted a fundraiser at a local restaurant to raise funds for the trip. Hosted by Hurricane Grill & Wings Thursday, diners could enter raffles for prizes and a portion of the profits from dinner and drinks went to the team.
