Syosset High School's 2013 yearbook, Red-n-White, has been awarded first place in the American Scholastic Press Association's national competition.

Syosset High School’s 2013 yearbook, Red-n-White, has been awarded first place in the American Scholastic Press Association’s national competition, scoring a total of 900 out of a possible 1,000 points. Led by adviser Caroline Polatsidis, the yearbook captures the spirit of life at Syosset High School.

ASPA presents high school and college newspapers, yearbooks and literary magazines with awards every year. Judging is based on content presentation, general page design, general photography, publication structure and creativity. Any publication receiving a score between 850 and 1,000 receives first-place honors.
