Syosset Schools Nutrition Committee to Meet
Committee to discuss healthy eating, nutrition awareness, and the physical activity levels of students.
The Syosset School District’s Nutrition Advisory Committee will meet on Jan. 7 at 9:30 a.m. in the Board of Education Conference Room at South Woods Middle School.
The committee includes student, parent, teacher, administrator and school community members who promote healthy eating, nutrition awareness, and the physical activity levels of students.
A nutrition table (pictured) posted in the cafeterias of all secondary schools was one of the committee's past projects.
