Syosset Students Honored at Board Meeting
Several sports teams, musicians and students were honored for their fall achievements at Monday night's Board of Education meeting.
The monthly Syosset meeting held at is usually a time where administrators, parents and faculty get together to honor achievements by outstanding students, before going into the agenda.
Monday night's meeting was no different. Several fall sports teams and players were honored for their achievements, including the and the football team and , among others.
To finish it off, Syosset High School band director led his jazz band as they performed some fine melodies for the audience.

When it came to business there were some noteworthy items discussed: the authorization for Renewal of Contract with Greiner-Maltz Co., Inc. was approved. This approval authorizes continuation of the Greiner-Maltz contract for the sale of the Woodbury School.
